We are considering raising additional funding to take our exploration programme for key battery metals to the next stage. The recent announcement of funding from the UK Government for a £4 million lithium pilot extraction plant, in joint venture with Geothermal Engineering Ltd, will allow us to considerably accelerate our move towards commercial extraction of lithium from geothermal waters. We are also greatly encouraged by results from our drilling programme at our hard rock lithium project near St Austell and wish to conduct further exploration in order to better define the opportunity.
We are considering once again raising this additional funding via Crowdcube, the world’s first equity crowdfunding platform. If you would like to find out more, please pre-register your interest now and we will send you more details before they are available publicly.

Cornish Lithium is exploring the opportunity to create a new, environmentally-responsible, UK based lithium extraction industry and has acquired exploration rights for lithium and other ‘battery metals’ across a large area of Cornwall.
As the world decarbonises with renewable energy and electric cars, the global demand for the raw materials to power this battery revolution is rising. Lithium is particularly key to batteries, with Volkwagen recently commenting that lithium is the “irreplaceable element of the electric future”. A domestic supply is becoming strategically important and Cornish Lithium are proud to have been selected as a participant in a project funded by the UK Government Faraday Battery Challenge fund which will evaluate the possibility to establish a UK based lithium extraction facility.
